Be Part of Oregon Heritage History
Recognized by the Oregon Heritage Commission as an official Oregon Heritage Tradition, Dory Days is an annual celebration of the dory fishing tradition unique to Pacific City. In 2026, the festival commemorates the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence with the theme Long May She Wave.
The Dory Center is proud to make its Dory Days debut this year, and we are extending a personal invitation to Oregon's legislative leaders and community champions who continue to support our project.
Stand alongside one of Oregon's most authentic coastal traditions and see firsthand the vision for a permanent home that will ensure this heritage endures. Rural coastal communities like Pacific City represent a distinct and irreplaceable part of Oregon's identity. The Dory Center is committed to honoring that, and we believe this project reflects the kind of community investment that Oregon's leaders care about most.

An evening beachfront reception hosted at Pelican Brewing, featuring a shared dinner and a presentation from the Dory Center Board.
The night will include the premiere of the Dory Center video, offering a first look at the vision and momentum behind this next chapter.
